ok.. i have pressed upload skin.. (did all the sizes correctly and everytjing, did all the colors) and it said: nav_bg must be a JPEG or a GIF
Mine is nav_bg.bmp%26lt;%26lt; (BMP) i made my skin on paint program as someone told me this was how to make a skin. How do i make it into JPEG or GIF?? Help me please...

Go back into paint and open up nav_bg for example. The go back to file and click save as. On the bottom there should be a box with something like '24 bitmap (.bmp)', click on the arrow beside it and change it to (.jpg) or (.gif). But the pic might go a bit blurry/lose some colour.
